I've been banning just about everyone. Our members only about 3 pages instead of 30. Admin validation would probably just upset and deter new members. Most forums I have visited that require validation I forget about or don't bother with.

well if it were possible like it was back when we were on invisionfree to have unvalidated members still have accounts that can be logged on to, i say we should do this and have only 1 forum visible to them, and that we can also see, so we can separate bot from
new guy. it's like that on some forum i was on, they say hi then the admin validates if he deems them a sign of life.

That sounds like a kind of nice idea, maybe we can create another member type and have the rest of the forums only viewable to the validated members.
